April floral workshop
We finally had flower workshops at our new location. New work benches and equipment were ready for fresh start. I was a little nervous before hosting the first workshop because the air conditioning system wasn't ready yet. It was 32 degree on the day of the workshop. I really felt sorry for everyone. Despite the warm weather, the work-shoppers followed through and created beautiful flower arrangement. Thanks again!! BTW the air con is installed now :)
There are still summer flowers around at the market due to the weather. I wasn't sure if I would go for the summer bloom varieties while they're available. After much thought, I decided to pick new seasonal flowers in fall colour palette. The colour scheme was rich red and Burgundy with a dash of pink. It worked out well. I could feel the vibe of fall. The flower lovers learnt two designs - front-facing and all round shape. It's like killing two birds with one stone! Everyone walked out of the door with gorgeous floral creation. It was the teacher's proud moment!!
It's relaxing and therapeutic morning indeed. I was beyond happy to meet all the lovely work-shoppers!!
