Christmas Wreath making Workshop 2016

A Christmas wreath hung on the door or wall might get you feeling festive. It's a perfect choice for your holiday decor. We hosted DIY Christmas wreath making workshop and it was a huge success. Many thanks to all who attended. It's all the rage here at Flower Lane and Co. We initially planned to run one workshop this year. Due to many queries, we added extra class. It was the first holiday wreath creating session. Such a fun experience spending weekend morning with amazing work-shoppers. Everything was perfect to make us get into festive spirit including the materials, Christmas music, sparkling wine and laugh!! Everyone made unique wreath creations from traditional to modern organic wreaths.

All of the materials are natural and organic. Pine cones, cinnamon sticks and dried oranges - especially I made dried oranges my self - it took me more than 3 hours for dried fruits.

For greens, we used spruse, pine leaves and Christmas holly. The cute red berries are called Bachelor. Full of green foliage, colourful berries, christmas decorations and dried fruits were incorporated into festive holiday wreath. Anyone who comes to your door will feel welcomed with gorgeous pine smell. There are interesting options like apples, seasonal cherries, mini pumpkins, orchids, cottons and more. I want to use some of them for workshop next year! I have so many ideas :) The beauty of DIY workshop is to see every single creation come out different. Each ingredient has own unique texture, colour and feature. It was a truly great opportunity to boast your creativity and imagination.
